Preparations

Is it just me or do these last few weeks of pregnancy take forever? If it’s tough on me I cannot even imagine how my wife is feeling.

I keep working myself hard trying to keep the home in order so that she can just relax and stay off of her feet. Cooking and cleaning non-stop, I would rather be doing this than the former.

The bassinet/changing table/play yard…



And the stroller/car seat…


The car seat, this is a new era when a certified car seat technician helps you to put in the car seat at the hospital. Can you imagine, getting paid to help people with car seats?

Thinking about the arrival of our baby makes me have flashbacks of childhood.


Those days make me think of this crazy crew.


Babies in our family always give us a beautiful new future to look forward. New dreams, new ideas, new aspirations, new hopes. I think that is one of the reasons why we love them so much. We think about the men and women they will become. We think about them becoming great. I think in reality we just want them to do better than we did.
