Potty Training

At 22 months Mariah has been potty training for the last few weeks. She has been successful at home a few times. Today was her first being successful at daycare. Even better is the fact that she went twice today. This is a difficult process but in the end it will be worth it. God Bless!

Mariah ... What a Character!

Hi Everyone!

It has been a long time since I have written. Now Mariah is 19 and 1/2 months old, and she is talking non-stop. Oh, and did I forget to mention that she is smart as a whip? At this age she can count to ten unassisted (a feat she has been doing for months now), she can sing most of her ABC's (though it probably sounded like jibberish to the untrained ear), and she sings all sorts of songs (The Itsy Bitsy Spider, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, and The Wheels on the Bus) just to name a few. Don't I sound just like a proud momma!

We have been blessed to catch some of her best moments on video over the last couple of days. As you will see from viewing the following, she can be quite fun and entertaining--and she loves to dance!

Tawanna

Update

On my birthday I wanted to share with you one of the most beautiful gifts that God has given me. She loves her daddy. The teacher at her daycare tells us she is the smartest person in the class. I hope that is not something that they tell everyone. It was a proud moment for Tawanna and I. She said that her speech is much more developed than most kids her age. Maybe it is because Tawanna and I talk to her like she can understand every word. LOL!
